Yudansha include all students who have achieved and are recognized as receiving Black Belt ranking. This page includes short biographies of our instructors and photos of all current Black Belt students to assist parents and students in knowing who is instructing them. In our dojo, instructors start at the rand of San-Dan (3rd degree) but ALL black-belt level students take part in teaching. We have noted those who regularly participate in the Kids Program so that parents can know who will be teaching children.

 | Founder, Master Greg Vasquez (Hachi Dan) was born in 1958 and to our grief and sorrow, passed away on June 6, 2022. |
 | Founder, Sensei Gary Diven (Go Dan) was born in 1958, and to our great sadness, passed away in 2010. |
 | Master Rod Crimmins (Ku Dan) has studied Isshinryu since 1969. Master Crimmins received his Hachi-Dan in 2004, and his Ku-Dan in 2012 from Grandmaster Ed McGrath. |
 | Master Zach Miller (Hachi Dan) was born in 1986 received his Sho Dan on December 10, 1999. He received his Hachi-Dan on August 5, 2023. |
 | Sensei Joe Bennett (Nana Dan) was born in 1961, received his Sho Dan on June 26, 2006 and his Nana-Dan on August 5, 2023. Sensei Bennett is an Instructor in the Kids Class. |
 | Sensei Terri Tamecki (Nana Dan) was born in 1963, received her Sho Dan on October 28, 2002 and her Nana-Dan in August 7, 2023. Sensei Tamecki is an instructor in the Kids Class. |
 | Sensei Mark Stephens (Roku Dan) was born in 1958, received his Sho Dan on July 12, 2004 and his Roku-Dan in August 12, 2019. Sensei Stephens joined the DKA in 2002. |
 | Sensei Patrick Kane (Roku Dan) has been studying Isshinryu since 1995, received his Sho Dan on October 10, 1998 and his Roku-Dan in April 2021 |
 | Sensei Clark Miller (Go Dan) received his Sho Dan on January 11, 2010 and his Go-Dan on December 4, 2021. |
 | Sensei Ralph Miller (Go Dan) received his Sho Dan on November 8, 2010 and his Go-Dan on December 13, 2021. Sensei Ralph MIller is an instructor in the Kids Class. |
 | Sensei Colton Hagarman (Yon Dan) received his Sho Dan on July of 2016 and his Yon-Dan on August 6, 2022. |
